Everyone that has attended the Part 1 courses and Part 2 courses with Rishiji in Colorado and Arizona in the last month have gone into rhapsodies* about their time with him. This is a gift from Sri Sri, having Rishi Nityapragya come to Los Angeles...be sure not to miss this opportunity!
*Rhapsody (rap' se de) n., an ecstatic expression of feeling or enthusiasm :-))
Rishi Nityapragya, a prominent Art of Living teacher in India trained by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, was previously an engineer by profession. He had a successful corporate career for seven years before devoting himself to teaching these programs. Now, Rishi is one of the key senior teachers and speakers with the international Art of Living Foundation. Since 1993, Rishi has taught Art of Living courses at the most prestigious universities in India to students and academic professionals, and numerous courses to corporate personnel.
Along with his teaching responsibilities, Rishi has led the Art of Living's 5-H Program. The 5-H Program (Health, Hygiene, Homes for Homeless, Harmony & Diversity and Human Values) is a highly successful program that provides these five essentials of life to people living in rural India . Part of 5-H is the Youth Leadership Training Program that has adopted 12,000 villages in India to provide service in the rural communities.
Rishi was invited as a representative to the Parliament of World Religions 1999 held in Capetown, South Africa and by the United Nations in 2000. Rishi has been the keynote speaker at many national and international yoga and interfaith conferences to speak on Vedic principles, and has addressed numerous professional, medical, and business conferences in Europe, U.A.E., Nepal , and India. Rishi has taught, traveled and sung throughout the world including Russia, Siberia, Europe, South Africa, Asia. This is his first visit to Los Angeles. We hope that you will welcome him warmly and attend the event that we have planned for him Sept 23-26.

Sahaj Samadhi Meditation is a natural and graceful system of effortless meditation. Sahaj Samadhi Meditation allows the conscious mind to settle deeply into itself. And when the mind settles down, it lets go of all tension and stress and centers itself in the present moment. It is only in the present moment that we find true happiness; those moments when we are free from regrets about the past or anxiety about the future. Sahaj means natural. Samadhi means enlightenment. Without effort, our inner nature is available.
Everyone has experienced this meditative state in certain moments of deep joy and happiness, perhaps on a vacation or when you are completely engrossed in an activity. Just for a moment the mind becomes so light and at ease. We have such moments and want to repeat them, but don't know how. Learning Sahaj Samadhi Meditation gives us the ability to recreate this feeling of ease, of calm alertness, in the midst of busy daily life.
In just a few sessions, you will learn to tap the depths of your own nature. Regular practice just twice a day can totally transform the quality of your life. Sahaj Samadhi is very easy and enjoyable.

Divya Samaj Nirmaan Course (DSN)
|
|
|
We all have personal barriers, old habits, or inhibitions that hold us back and keep us from more fully participating in life. At the same time, we all have a deep desire to be the best we can be - for ourselves, our families and dear ones, our communities, and even the world around us. But the truth is that those old emotional wounds, self-concepts, attitudes and fears, create a barrier between you and the ability to live your heart's desire.
Divya Samaj Nirmaan (The Creation of a Divine Society) is a rigorous and transformational course, designed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Through a powerful combination of Padma Sadhana, special meditations, breathing techniques, group processes, and deep spiritual knowledge, the DSN course empowers participants to break through personal inhibitions and barriers of all kinds. Dropping whatever does not serve your best interests is a completely liberating experience - it makes you so strong that nothing in this world can shake you.
When you are ready for true liberation, true freedom and personal empowerment, then you are ready for the power of DSN!
